At this moment, we (group of students) are working with the Joulemeter 1.2 on a HP desktop with Windows 7. When trying to change the model type or values in the Manual Model Entry tab, the program suddenly closes down without any notification.
We did not encounter this problem when testing the program on a laptop. What could be the problem here?

The problem could be related to the way the software was installed or the operating systems running on both computers. For example, you should run the software under an Administrator user and always as Run as Administrator. Secondly, there could be a problem with the installation. Because of unknown reasons, the files could get corruption. I advise re-installing the software. If it's not fully compatibility with Windows 7, apply a compatibility tweak. Right click the file, go to Properties > Compatibility > Windows XP.
